Hand washing is important. It stops the spread of germs and sicknesses, epically communicable diseases. A communicable disease is a disease that is spread by others peoples saliva, or if a person coughs in there hand, and doesn't wash or sanitize it, and touches a desk, chair, ect. and then you, or someone else touches the same thing then touches their eyes, hands, nose or mouth, you will also get the disease unless you had a vaccine for it. You should wash your hands after OR before handling animals, handling raw food, using the bathroom, ect. By the way this DOES NOT mean I'm a germaphobe. Because I'm not. Some of you may be rolling your eyes at all this but I'm just letting you know. It's a good way of keeping you from getting sick.

Welcome! I just think it helps because there are a lot of people who don't think washing your hands is important.
